Fourth of July

We celebrated the 4th of July twice.  Once by watching the City of Burley's firework show and another time, a few days later, at my parent's house.  My parents missed celebrating the 4th of July because they were at a leadership training at Philmont Boys Scout Camp in New Mexico.  When I was growing up, my dad hated buying us fireworks.  I often remember him saying, "Buying fireworks is like burning money."  Now he has changed his opinion of them.  I think the show at my parents house beat the City's show.
Kinsley's favorite things were the sparklers.  I bet she went through two boxes all by herself.
They even had "Big kid sparklers" that exploded in the air.
Aila wasn't a big fan of the fireworks. She thought they were sheer torture.
