Mother's Group Activity
Friday morning we went to the church and celebrated halloween with the Mother's Group. They had a lot of fun activities for the kids (cake walk, pumpkin bowling, fishin' for a ghost, and a fun craft). Kinsley enjoyed all of the games and candy. She also really enjoyed running wild around the entire gym.

SCO HalloweenAfter naps on Friday we headed up to Eric's school and went trick-or-treating at the Eye Center. Each suite was given a "theme" and the students had to dress accordingly- Eric was in the optical and their theme was Pirates. In each suite there was an activity and treat/toy given to the kids. Naps ran a little long so we were late and most suites were in the process of being taken down. Kinsley was scared of everyone and would hide behind me and Eric. Her favorite prizes were her eyeball "purse" (trick-or-treat bag but she calls it a purse), spider ring, and glow-in-the-dark bracelet.
Saturday evening our Ward had a Family Halloween dance. It was lots of fun! Kinsley had a great time running around like a crazy person and dancing.
By the time Halloween day rolled around we were pretty much Halloweened out!!! So on Sunday we kept it low key and celebrated by letting Kinsley paint her baby pumpkin.

Wheew! Glad that is over! Halloween is one of my least favorite holidays. Now we can look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! Eric took Kinsley to The Home Depot the other day and she saw their Christmas display and she said, "Ho! Ho! Ho!" Looks like she remembers things from last year. She has also started asking Santa Clause for some lip gloss. =)
