A Morning At The Zoo

The staff at Eric's school had a meeting today so he didn't have to be there until 2:00. We decided that it would be a perfect day to go to the zoo. The weather was below 85 degrees and there was a slight sprinkle so there weren't very many people there. We should have stayed all day because Eric got to examine more eyes at the zoo than in the clinic (none of his patients showed up)... Here he is trying to get a good view of the panda's eyes--Eric thinks it has a cataract (seriously).

Do you see the baby monkey (it is brown)? All of the monkey's took turns holding it. It was SOO cute!

We decided to splurge and spend $1 to feed the birds. We have never done this before and Kinsley thought it was pretty neat seeing all of the birds up close.
