Meeting Santa

Eric and I took Kinsley to the mall today to get her picture taken with Santa Clause. She did surprisingly well! (last year she cried) I prepared her (Eric says "brain washed") for the trip by reading a book about Santa Clause every night at bed time. We would talk about how nice he is and she would kiss him in the book.
When Kinsley first saw Santa she reached out her arms to hug him but as the line grew shorter and shorter she grew more wary of him. Finally, her turn came and she was hesitant to approach him. Eric told her to wave and blow a kiss- which she did- and then he sat her on his lap. As you can tell from the photo- she was less than thrilled to be meeting Santa and she never let us out of her sight. We tried to get her to smile but this is as good as it got.

I love it! I think seriously over night she turned into a little girl because she looks so grown up. I am really impressed she didn't cry. This is the first year that Lucy sat on Santas lap.

She looks adorable in that picture! That's good that you prepped her for the big moment.
