Cove Fort

On our way to St. George, UT we stopped at Cove Fort. The Fort was built by the pioneers in 1867. It provided travelers a sanctuary from the hostile Indians and served as a communication hub because it also contained a telegraph office and pony express stop. I, personally, had never heard of the Fort so I found the history fascinating.
