Christmas Festivities

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house. We were told to come prepared with a family talent or skit. Eric and I enlightened everyone with a duet (Hark the Herald Angels Sing). Eric later showed me up and played a much harder piece, The First Noel.
My family drew parts for the nativity story. The cast includes: Three Wise Men- Mom, Kristi, and Kate, Mary-Jenn, Joseph- Eric, Jesus-Claire, donkey-Jared, Angel-me, Shepards- Jason, Abby, and Karson (in case you are wondering... the pom poms are sheep). We had 10 minuets to find our costumes and then my dad read the story out of the scriptures. We had a great time!

Christmas Eve just wouldn't be Christmas Eve without the annual Beck Christmas Party. The afternoon was filled with food, Grandma's peanut brittle, family, and an exhilarating game of BINGO! We all came home winners from the famous Beck Bingo game. Once again, Kinsley enjoyed eating wrapping paper.

We went caroling with the Jones family. Of course we would go caroling in a blizzard... and of course we would take Kinsley, who had a cold, with us... We are awesome parents!

Those are some pretty sweet nativity costumes. I think that is a fun idea to draw the names. It looks like you guys are having alot of fun up there in Idaho. We walked by your place the other day and it looks like things are still safe :)

How fun! I didn't know you and Eric BOTH played piano! And having Christmas in MS early was a very smart idea!
