Yesterday Eric's school was canceled due to the weather. He thought it was ridiculous and went to the school to study against the advice of the weatherman. During his drive to school he called and said, "People here are too cautious. I can't believe they are scared of a little slush on the road!" On his way home he called me and said, "This is really bad! There was an inch of ice on the car when I was leaving school and it took me 15 minutes to scrape it off."
The ice on the trees is really beautiful especially at night!
Ice really weighs down the branches of trees which makes them break. This tree fell on our neighbors car. Luckily it didn't land on a power line and cut off our power.
