A Walk At Shelby Farms

Last weekend Eric and I took Kinsley to Shelby Farms to go on a walk. We brought along her stroller but shortly into our walk she made it apparent that she would much rather walk than ride. So, we let her out of her stroller and learned that you don't go very far when walking with a toddler. It was not because of her short stride. It was because she stopped to check out everything!

She stopped to look at the grass and to wave and blow kisses to the other people on the trail.

She stopped to inspect all of the sticks and the poop in the grass.

She stopped to touch and look at all of the flowers.

Although we didn't walk the distance we had planned, we did notice a lot of beautiful things around us-- thanks to Kinsley.

What a fun walk. Shelby farms is a good idea. Maybe we'll head up there one of these days.
